Laurona Plini heeft 12 maanden gerijpt op Frans eiken. 
Laurona Plini is een karaktervolle, krachtige rode wijn. Rijp fruit, een vleugje kruiden, hout tonen, "roasted tones", rijpe tannines en een smakelijke afdronk.
Uitstekende combinatie met rundvlees, lam, stoofschotels, wild, ossehaas, geroosterd/gegrild vlees, jamon en harde kazen. 
De optimale drinktemperatuur voor Laurona Plini is 16°C.

"The nose of the 2012 Plini showed a strong vegetal strike. The technical data explains this is a blend of Garnacha and Syrah, and besides the herbal notes, it has a lactic creaminess and high ripeness which was not my favorite. The palate is medium-bodied, a little hollow in the middle. It wasn't a great showing...
