Paso a Paso Tempranillo komt uit La Mancha

De druiven voor deze Tempranillo zijn afkomstig van 46 jaar oude wijnstokken. Het is een 6 maanden gerijpte rode wijn op Frans eikenhout en heeft mooie aroma's van rijp rood fruit, cacao, koffie, kaneel, een vleugje kruiden en mooie rijpe tannines.

Goede combinatie met rood vlees, wild, gevogelte, pasta’s, jamon en harde kazen. Serveren op 16ºC.

Wine advocate:

Paso A Paso is pure Tempranillo from La Mancha sold as Vino de la Tierra de Castilla, the generic regional appellation. It fermented in stainless steel vat and matured in vats and in well-seasoned 225-liter oak barrels for six months. 

Even better is the Paso a Paso Tempranillo (Nonorganic). This has a purple label, versus the blood-orange label of the organic cuvée, and is from vines planted in1970, but not subject to organic cultivation. This unfiltered 100% Tempranillo shows blueberry and black raspberry fruit and a big, spicy, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel with loads of fruit. It is a much richer, bigger and deeper wine than its organic counterpart. Drink it over the next several years

Colour: cherry, garnet rim.
Nose: overripe fruit, creamy oak, hot.
Palate: pruney, powerful, sweet tannins.
