Complexe, evenwichtige, fruitige wijn. Rijp rood fruit,mineralen, "roasted tones", cacao, goed geïntegreerde tannines en een mooie volle afdronk.
Goede combinatie met rood vlees, wild, jamón en harde kazen.

"The red Bordeaux blend 2014 Gran Vos is supposedly their Reserva, their Grand Vin, their flagship brand first produced in 1990 with selections from the best lots from each vintage. In 2014, the bottled blend is 52% Merlot and 48% Cabernet Sauvignon that fermented separately and aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, after which time the best lots were selected and blended. It's a textbook Bordeaux red blend from a warmer climate, with plenty of sweet spice and toast/smoke from the élevage in barrel. The palate reveals a powdery texture because of the abundance of dusty tannins. Better with food. 34,833 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2016."
